Bikes, ladders, rakes and lawn chairs take up the most floor space in a garage, and this 48 in. steel rail moves them onto the wall. The rail mounts into two or three wall studs, and six black steel hooks slide along it to wherever you need them: a vertical bike hook that holds a bicycle by its front wheel, a deep ladder hook, two utility hooks for chairs and hoses, and two tool holders for rakes, shovels and brooms. The rail and hooks are made of powder-coated steel, and each hook has a rubber-coated tip so it does not scratch frames or handles. Mount a second rail above the first to double the storage, or use one in a shed for the garden tools.

Care
Dust the powder-coated steel with a soft cloth and clean marks with warm water and mild soap, then dry it. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh solvents. If the coating is scratched through to bare metal, touch it up with matching metal paint to keep rust away, and wipe up spilled liquids, road salt and fertilizer promptly. Re-check the bolts and leveling feet once a year.
Installation and safety
Mount into wall studs or masonry with the included screws and anchors, or with fasteners suited to your wall - do not hang it from drywall alone. Use a stud finder and a level, and keep heavy items low and close to the wall. Assembly and mounting take one to two adults and a drill.
