8 x 4 ft PVC Slatwall Panel Kit with 20 Hooks and Accessories, Light Gray

A slatwall turns a bare garage wall into storage you can rearrange in seconds. This kit covers 8 ft x 4 ft with four light gray PVC panels, each 8 ft long and 12 in. tall, with deep horizontal grooves every 3 in. Twenty black steel accessories lock into the grooves without tools: J-hooks and double hooks for hand tools and extension cords, a long hook for a garden hose, a wire basket for balls and spray bottles, and a straight shelf for paint cans and boxes. When your storage needs change, lift an accessory out and slide it into a new spot - no new holes in the wall. PVC does not rot, swell or rust, so the panels suit an unheated garage, a basement or a shed, and they wipe clean with a damp cloth.

Specifications

Care

Wipe the PVC panels with a damp cloth and a little mild soap; they do not absorb water, so oil, grease and garden dirt wipe off easily. Do not use solvents or abrasive pads, which dull the surface. Once or twice a year check that the mounting screws are still tight and that every hook sits fully in its groove before you hang heavier items.

Installation and safety

Mount into wall studs or masonry with the included screws and anchors, or with fasteners suited to your wall - do not hang it from drywall alone. Use a stud finder and a level, and keep heavy items low and close to the wall. Assembly and mounting take one to two adults and a drill.
