This privacy policy explains how Dovrent ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit dovrent.shop or buy from us. 1. Information we collect

Order information: name, billing and shipping address, e-mail address, phone number (optional), the products you buy and your order history.
Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe; we receive only the payment status, card type and the last four digits - never your full card number.
Customer account: if you create an account, your login details and saved addresses.
Inquiries: the details you send us by e-mail, phone or our contact form (name, e-mail, order number, subject, message).
Technical information: IP address, browser type, pages visited and the time of your visit, stored in our server logs for security.

2. How we use your information

To process, ship and support your order, and to handle returns, exchanges and refunds.
To answer your questions and provide customer service.
To keep the accounting records required by law.
To protect our store, our customers and our payment provider against fraud and misuse.
For optional cookies, only according to the choice you make in our cookie banner.

We do not send marketing e-mails unless you have asked to receive them, and we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

3. Who we share information with

Shipping carriers (UPS and FedEx) - name, shipping address, e-mail and phone number to deliver your package and send tracking updates.
Stripe, Inc. - payment processing and fraud prevention.
Our web hosting provider - hosts the website and its database on our behalf.
Government authorities, only where we are legally required to.

4. Cookies and your choices

We use a cookie banner (Complianz). Functional cookies (shopping cart, checkout, login, security and your cookie choice) are always active. Preferences, statistics and marketing cookies are only used according to the choice you make in the banner, and we do not currently use statistics or advertising cookies. 5. How long we keep your information

Order and invoice records are kept for 7 years as required for our accounting records. Inquiries are deleted 2 years after the last contact unless they relate to an order. Customer accounts are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Server logs are deleted after 30 days.

6. Your privacy rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, and to stop sending you any marketing. To make a request, e-mail us at contact@dovrent.shop; we respond within 45 days and will not discriminate against you for using your rights.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you live in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; the right to delete and to correct your personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information; and the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use sensitive personal information for purposes other than those allowed by law. You or an authorized agent can submit a request by e-mail to contact@dovrent.shop; we verify requests by matching the e-mail address and order details we hold.

Residents of other states

Residents of states with consumer privacy laws (such as Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and Oregon) have similar rights to access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of their personal information and to opt out of targeted advertising and sales. You can exercise them by e-mail to contact@dovrent.shop; if we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our answer.

7. Security

Our website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to handle your order.

8. Children

Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last update at the top.
