1. Definitions

"We", "us" and "Dovrent" mean the seller named above. "You" means the customer. "Products" means the goods shown in our store. These terms are for consumers buying for personal use.

2. Acceptance of these terms

By placing an order you accept these terms, our Shipping Policy, Refund and Returns Policy, Payment Policy and Privacy Policy.

3. Use of our website

You may use our website to browse and buy products for your own use. You must not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorized access or interfere with its operation.

4. Products and prices

We describe our products, their dimensions, weights, materials and what is in the box as accurately as possible. Colors can look slightly different on screen. All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD), and shipping to the 48 contiguous United States and Washington, D.C. is free. If we make an obvious pricing error, we will contact you before accepting the order.

5. Orders and how the contract is formed

Your order is an offer to buy. You first receive an automatic order confirmation; a contract is formed when we ship the products and send you the shipping confirmation. We may decline an order, for example if an item is out of stock or the shipping address is outside our shipping area; any payment taken is then refunded in full.

6. Payment and ownership

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payment is taken when you place your order. Ownership of the products passes to you once payment has been received in full; risk passes to you on delivery.

7. Shipping

We ship to the 48 contiguous United States and Washington, D.C. only, free of charge, with UPS or FedEx. Order cut-off time: 2:00 PM (ET). Processing takes 1 - 2 days (Monday to Friday) and transit 2 - 5 days (Monday to Friday). Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

8. Returns, refunds and exchanges

You may return any item within 90 days of delivery with a free prepaid return label for a full refund or an exchange. See our Refund and Returns Policy. This policy does not affect any rights you may have under applicable state law.

9. Warranty

Products are covered against manufacturing defects. Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties, so some limitations may not apply to you. These terms give you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

10. Installation and safe use

Please follow the installation and safety information on each product page and in the instructions supplied in the box. Wall-mounted products must be fixed into wall studs or masonry, tall cabinets and racks must be secured with the included anti-tip strap, and the power strip and LED light of our powered workbench are for indoor use only and must be plugged into a grounded outlet.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website - text, photos, logos and design - belongs to Dovrent or is used with permission and may not be copied without our written consent.

12. Privacy

We handle your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

14. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather or carrier disruptions. We will tell you as soon as possible and you may cancel an order that is seriously delayed for a full refund.

15. Third-party services

Our website links to third-party services such as UPS and FedEx tracking and Stripe payments. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to those services.

16. Questions and disputes

Please contact our customer service first - we answer every inquiry within 24 hours and will try to resolve any issue informally. You keep any right you have to bring a claim in a small claims court.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles; consumers retain any non-waivable rights under the laws of their state of residence.

18. General

If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force. We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
